Health Hacks Snack Mix Recipe

It is National Nutrition Month (a passionate topic of mine)!
According to the CDC more than 30 million Americans have diabetes with 90-95% with type 2 diabetes. By staying at a healthy weight, eating nutritious foods and being active you can decrease your risk for problems such as pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.
Keep healthy snacks at your desk such as:
Seeds, raw nuts
Fruit: dried, freeze dried, fresh fruits
Ready to eat vegetables: Mini peppers, green beans, snap peas, radishes, baby carrots, celery
Make your own snack mix which will stay fresh at your desk when stored in an air tight container. Here’s a simple snack mix recipe idea:
1 - 2 lbs cashews (roasted or raw)
1/2 - 1 lb walnuts
1/2 lb pepita seeds
1/2 lb goji berries
1/2 lb dried bing cherries
TIP: Add seasoning or spices of choice. I used nori furikake seasoning with some garlic +chili avocado oil.
